D. Robert and Lorri Franz have been internationally known photographers for over 20 years. Their images have appeared in magazines, books, newspapers, calendars, note cards and advertising. They have had over 500 photographs published in 44 different countries. Editorial clients include Audubon Magazine, International Wildlife, National Geographic, Outdoor Life and Ranger Rick. Their images have been well received in the calendar industry by such companies as Brown Trout, Golden Turtle, Cedco and Sierra Club. They have also appeared in numerous books by National Geographic, Stackpole and Time Life Books among others.
In addition to their photography, they have written and published articles on outdoor lifestyle and natural history. They were contributing editors to Rocky Mountain Outdoors Magazine and have recently done assignment work for numerous clients including Field and Stream Magazine, Wildlife Conservation Magazine and the Trust for Public land. They also operate Wildlife Images Photo Tours and lead photo workshops and tours worldwide.
With over 300,000 images in their files, they have one of the largest private stock collections in the United States. Images include North American Wildlife and Scenics, African Wildlife and Scenics, Endangered species, Australian Outback and many more.
